It’s Grrrrreat!

I try not to blab on about my own stuff too endlessly on the blog, but this is simply too cool not to brag about…

This huge and wonderful ad for Lost at the Zoo is on the bus stops outside Edinburgh Zoo  and inside some of the buses that go to the zoo, for a month, and the lovely people at the zoo have even provided a competition prize to go with it. How about that for the sort of publicity every writer wants? Thanks to Floris Books  and Edinburgh Zoo for making it happen.

Of course, it couldn’t have happened (nor indeed could the book) without Joanne Nethercott’s wonderful illustrations. She and I are doing a day of storytelling (me) and crafts (her) based on Lost at the Zoo in Edinburgh Zoo on Friday August 3rd, from 11.00 until 15.00. Come along and meet Rory and make a mask to take home!
