What a Week!

Completion Of The World's Largest Of Equine Sculptures...FALKIRKIt started with a school launch of the Kelpies Teen titles for Merchiston Castle and Firhill schools, followed by Younger Child’s 18th birthday (How did that happen??) And then, during his birthday lunch, I found that my god-daughter had got engaged. How much champagne can one woman reasonably drink?

The book-related highlight of the week however, was of course Friday night’s Kelpies Teen launch event. Lari Don, Roy Gill and I got to party with lots of friends, family and writing chums and generally have a lovely time. We also got to watch the trailers for our books – and there’s a sentence I never thought I’d type! You can watch the trailer for Beneath here, and for Mindblind and Werewolf Parallel here.

So now, it’s over to the readers….

As for the picture at the top of the post, it’s the fantastic and huge Kelpies sculpture in Falkirk, Scotland. (The Kelpies in  Beneath aren’t quite so big…)
