Electrifying events.

imagesI19DLE8FHello to everyone who came along to the Electricity event in the Schools Programme at EIBF yesterday. Nick and I certainly had a great time presenting it, and inadvertently started a push-up and magnet catching challenge in the signing tent afterwards. (You had to be there…) You were a great audience and asked wonderful questions, and I hope to see you again. St Mary’s Primary School pupils: I’ll definitely see you again very soon!

And by the way, we didn’t break the Book Festival. Not even slightly….

I’ve also been introducing Nick Arnold and Tony de Saulles Horrible Science Show, which was rapturously received by a real and a virtual audience, and taking part in a panel event with Ruth Jarman and Jennie Hargreaves on why we should be trying to make more use of great children’s science books in the classroom and lab.
